Finding My Voice: An Actor's Journey from Choir Robes to The Big Apple

High school hallways echoed with the melody of my voice, a proud member of the Marching Band, Choir and drama club. But somewhere between graduation caps and college dorms, the stage lights dimmed. The existential haze of "what-am-I-supposed-to-do-with-my-life?" clouded my vision. Thankfully, a kismet meeting with one Margaret Larlham, reignited the spark. Margaret and her husband became my mentors and gifted me their contagious passion for theatre. They saw the star before it even twinkled (thanks, you!).

The MFA program at UC Irvine was a transformative experience, a crucible that forged my skills and solidified my love for the craft. From the hallowed stages of Williamstown Theatre Festival & Utah Shakespeare to the concrete jungle of NYC, my journey has been an exciting one. Ten years in this city have been a masterclass in collaboration, working with incredible names at Boals Winnett & Associates on shows like The Blacklist and Succession.

But for me acting goes beyond the accolades. It's about delving into complex characters, scripts that evoke a kaleidoscope of emotions, and collaborating with storytellers who breathe life into words. It's a pursuit that ignites my soul, and I can't wait to see where the next script takes me. So, are you ready to write the next chapter with me? Let's raise the curtain on something extraordinary!

P.S. Margaret and Peter, if you're reading this, you saw the star before it twinkled. That first award speech will still be for you!
