FINDING MY VOICE: FROM CHOIR ROBES TO THE BIG APPLE

High school was where I first found my voice—literally. Whether I was in choir robes, a marching band uniform, or a drama club costume, I was always performing. But after graduation, like many young artists, I hit a familiar crossroads: What now?

That answer came thanks to a chance encounter with Margaret Larlham, a professor who reignited my spark and—with her husband—mentored me toward a life in the theatre. Their belief in me lit the path forward.

I went on to earn my MFA in Acting from UC Irvine, one of the top programs in the country, after completing a double major in Theatre and Psychology at SDSU (yes, I flirted with pre-med—long story!). Since then, I’ve built a bi-coastal career spanning both stage and screen.

Recent screen work includes FBI, Law & Order: SVU, Zero Day opposite Robert De Niro, and two indie short films. On stage, I’ve performed with the Williamstown Theatre Festival and Utah Shakespeare Festival.

I bring to life characters that range from calm paramedics to tech whizzes to fabulous therapists who offer emotional breakthroughs and a killer Kiki. I’m passionate about stories that uplift marginalized voices and about working with collaborators who lead with heart.

Currently represented by Boals Winnett & Associates, I’m based in both NYC and LA—and always ready to dive into the next great project.

So… shall we raise the curtain on something extraordinary?

P.S. Margaret and Peter—my first award speech is still for you.

P.P.S. In my downtime, I’m channeling my inner queen as Nadia Biznus or rolling Nat 20s in an epic D&D campaign.
